• Location: Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA 02130 (Boston ultrasound jobs / Massachusetts sonography jobs)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
• Employment Type: Travel Sonographer – On-Site
• Weekly Hours: 32 hours guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1730-$1860/week
• Shift Schedule:
  • Friday: 11pm – 7am (8 hours)
  • Saturday: 3pm – 7am (16 hours)
  • Sunday: 3pm – 11pm (8 hours)
  Possibility of additional hours during the week if desired, but not guaranteed.
• Unit: Radiology – Ultrasound (Vascular & Women's Health)

Required Qualifications – Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist

• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based sonography experience (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist)
• Valid sonographer certification/license required (ARDMS, ARRT(S), or state equivalent preferred)
• Experience with vascular and women's health ultrasound exams preferred
• Willingness to work overnight and weekend shifts
• Completion of onboarding health screenings (MMR, TB test, health statement, fit test, respirator medical clearance)
• Background check and education/credential verification required

Responsibilities – Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

• Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging for vascular and women's health patients using hospital protocols
• Operate ultrasound equipment and optimize image acquisition for accurate diagnostics
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to support patient care
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures
• Document findings, maintain accurate records, and communicate results per department guidelines
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control procedures
• Provide reliable coverage during overnight and weekend shifts for the radiology department
