• Position: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Endoscopy RN) / Travel Nurse
• Location: Boston, MA 02118 (Boston healthcare, Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel
• Duration: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 20, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (flexible start time, no set day off)
• Schedule: No weekends, no major holidays
• Patient Ratio: 1:2 (GI patients)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,330–$2,460/week

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — MA or compact license preferred
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in PACU, ICU, or ED with post-sedation care
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass Telemetry test on day 1 with ?85%
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (current)
• Experience with GI procedures, endoscopy, or peri-procedural nursing is a strong plus

Preferred Experience

• Previous Endoscopy RN, GI Nurse, or Travel Nurse experience
• Familiarity with endoscopy equipment, sedation protocols, and GI nursing best practices
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams in high-volume procedure areas

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered pre- and post-procedure care for GI/endoscopy patients in procedure bays and rooms
• Monitor and accurately interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety post-sedation
• Administer medications and recovery interventions per protocol and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiology, techs, and support staff to coordinate efficient patient flow
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and adhere to clinical protocols and infection control standards
• Educate patients and families about post-procedure care and discharge instructions
