Job Details — Travel Nurse, Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes)

• Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Location: Geneva, NY 14456 — Finger Lakes nursing jobs / New York travel nurse opportunity
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1960–$2070
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 3x12 hour rotating shifts (day or night, scheduled as needed); every other weekend & holidays required
• On Call: 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site — medical-surgical nursing / acute care RN role

Required Qualifications — Med/Surg RN / Registered Nurse

• Active New York State RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI only)
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical-surgical (Med/Surg) environment as an RN
• Experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations in acute care preferred

Key Responsibilities — Medical Surgical Nursing / Clinical Care

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based medical-surgical nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care, monitor clinical progress, and modify plans of care as needed
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to policies and scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on self-care, post-discharge instructions, and lifestyle changes
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance in an acute care setting
• Delegate appropriately, document care accurately, and participate in quality improvement activities
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices in medical-surgical nursing
