NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Danville, PA. 13-week contract starting April 6, 2026. Must have 2+ years NICU experience and an active RN license. Join a skilled neonatal care team in a scenic Central Pennsylvania community.

  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470–$2,600/week
  • Shift: Day/Night rotation (minimum 4 nights in 4 weeks)
  • Shift Options: 0700–1930 & 1900–0730
  • Hours per Week: 36 hours (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

  • Active RN license required (state requirements must be met)
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required — demonstrated neonatal care skills preferred
  • Ability to work both day and night shifts and rotate as scheduled
  • Willingness to work every other holiday during the contract
  • Flexibility to be pulled to PICU or to provide 1:1 patient care as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Monitor and assess newborn patient conditions; recognize and respond to acute changes
  • Administer medications, manage IVs/infusions, and follow neonatal protocols
  • Document patient care, interventions, and progress accurately in the medical record
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in day/night rotations and meet weekend and holiday staffing requirements
  • Adapt to unit needs, including possible temporary assignment to PICU or 1:1 bedside care
