Job Details

• Location: Marinette, WI 54143 (Marinette County)
• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse / L&D RN – Travel Nurse
• Setting: Level III Trauma Center; Women's Health & OB Services
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week)
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Scrubs & Parking: Any scrub color; parking available in front of building or by ED
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2130-$2250

Required Qualifications — L&D RN / Registered Nurse

• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (3–5 years preferred)
• Active RN license in Wisconsin or Compact RN license accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation), and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Clinical experience with nursery, postpartum, and GYN surgeries is preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication systems
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Key Responsibilities — Labor & Delivery Nursing

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care for antepartum, intrapartum (L&D from 35 weeks), and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal heart tracings at bedside and from the nurse's station using FHM skills
• Maintain unit patient ratios: 1:1 for laboring patients; 1:3 for couplets combined with antepartum/surgical
• Assist with GYN surgeries, newborn care in the nursery, and perioperative responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, charge nurse, resource nurse, and respiratory therapists (30-minute call-back expectation)
• Float to inpatient units when required (may act as a sitter or CNA during floats)
• Complete at least one orientation shift to learn unit flow and adhere to PPE and infection control protocols
