• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts one week; 3 x 12-hour shifts plus 1 x 8-hour shift the next week; 80 hours biweekly)

• On-Site: Yes (local travel nurse assignment)
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: November 8, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,360–$2,480/week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience required
• Active New York RN license required (or proof of application with applied date)
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required (experience with electronic medical records/EMR documentation)
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC or proof of class with date applied must be included; NIHSS required prior to start)
• Preferred certifications: CEN, ENPC, CPEN, ABLS
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible). Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires November–April

Responsibilities / Clinical Duties

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room and Emergency Department
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and treatment for a wide range of acute, urgent, and emergent conditions
• Stabilize critical patients, assist with procedures, and provide timely medication administration and IV therapy as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Adapt to changing patient needs and unit requirements, including working every other weekend
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and maintain compliance with facility requirements and travel nurse responsibilities
