• Position Type: Travel Nurse — Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg Telemetry
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 18, 2026 – June 17, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed, no cancellations)
• Unit: Med/Surg with Telemetry (10 beds; telemetry capability on all beds)
• Care Setting: Acute care hospital
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2100/week

Required Qualifications — Med/Surg Tele RN

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg acute care experience (telemetry experience preferred)
• Active RN license (Arizona license or compact RN eligible preferred)
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS required; PALS preferred
• Experience using electronic health records — Allscripts experience a plus
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg units and ICU; comfortable managing Med/Surg overflow patients
• Strong assessment, telemetry monitoring, and medication administration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed Med/Surg telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring and assessments
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform treatments per hospital protocols
• Document patient care accurately in Allscripts and maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary team members
• Collaborate with tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs to support safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (typical nights 1:6; may vary with acuity)
• Float to other Med/Surg units and the ICU as needed to support patient flow
