• Location: Bristol, CT (06010) — Connecticut travel MRI jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5 days/week; 8-hour shifts (11:30am – 8:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 - $2,670 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• ARRT MRI certification (ARRT (MR)) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Proficiency operating GE 1.5T MRI scanners and performing routine and advanced MRI protocols
• Experience with MEDITECH electronic charting preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, patient screening, and contrast administration protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for inpatient and outpatient populations using GE 1.5T MRI equipment
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic images by following prescribed MRI protocols and positioning techniques
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including proper screening for implants and contraindications
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and complete charting in MEDITECH
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to optimize imaging quality and workflow
• Follow hospital policies, ACR/MRI safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide compassionate patient care and professional customer service to diverse patient populations
