13-week travel RN opportunity in a high-volume Emergency Department near Cleveland — care for adults and pediatric patients in a modern ED. Join our healthcare team as an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Beachwood, Ohio.
This travel contract places you in a busy, state-of-the-art emergency department serving a diverse patient population, including pediatrics. Beachwood is a vibrant Cleveland suburb with excellent shopping, dining, parks, and cultural attractions.
Job Details
- Location: Beachwood, Ohio (44122) — Cleveland area travel nursing opportunity
- Setting: 38-bed Emergency Department (ED) with 5 fast track rooms, internal waiting room, 4 behavioral health swing rooms, and 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms
- Contract Length: 13-week travel contract
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Start Date: April 6, 2026
- Number of Openings: 2
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800-$1890
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience — strong ER RN background preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Experience caring for pediatric patients and comfort with pediatric emergency nursing
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as required by the travel nurse schedule
- Required onboarding documentation: health screenings, background checks, and skills checklist
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED
- Assess, triage, and manage patient flow across acuity levels, including pediatric cases and fast-track patients
- Respond to high-acuity situations such as trauma/resuscitation and behavioral health emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, ED protocols, and travel nurse onboarding requirements
