• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours per week)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (19:00–07:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Number of Openings: 10 Travel RN positions

• Scrub Colors: Solid Navy (facility dress code)
• EMR: Meditech (clinical documentation / telemetry charting)

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required (ADN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or multistate Compact RN license — No temporary licenses accepted
• RN must be listed in NURSYS
• AHA BLS (or Red Cross equivalent) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience required; candidates with 18 months will be considered if at least 1 year is recent in the specialty
• Ability to float to all acute areas and to the Northport location (flexible travel RN)
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care on Med/Surg Telemetry units, including cardiac telemetry monitoring and assessments
• Perform admissions, ongoing assessments, care coordination, and discharge planning as a Registered Nurse
• Document care accurately and timely using Meditech EMR (electronic medical record)
• Float between units and locations as needed; may include reassignment during shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional nursing standards; maintain professional appearance (solid navy scrubs)
