Job Details
- Location: Geneva, NY (Zip: 14456) — Travel LPN job, Finger Lakes region
- Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (April 7, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
- Employment Type: Travel, Full-Time
- Shift: Evening shifts, 5x8 hours per week (40 hours/week) — Evening nursing shift, LPN role
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1370-$1440/week
Required Qualifications
- Active New York LPN licensure (NY LPN license required)
- BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a Long-Term Care or skilled nursing facility
- Experience providing care to adult and geriatric residents; knowledge of geriatric nursing best practices
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with RNs, interdisciplinary team, residents, and families
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under RN supervision
- Collect, document, and report data on residents' physical and psychosocial condition to the RN and care team
- Contribute to and update age-appropriate, culturally relevant care plans to achieve resident outcomes
- Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive long-term care
- Maintain current competency through continuing education and in-service training
- Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff; demonstrate leadership in the clinical setting
- Incorporate safety, cost-conscious planning, and quality considerations into daily care delivery
- Anticipate occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens and follow standard precautions
