• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
• Duration: 13 weeks (13-week travel assignment)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2010 per week

Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience in acute care, LTAC, or similar settings
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific licensure as required)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Experience in LTAC, ventilator care, or complex medical-surgical populations preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care following individualized nursing care plans and LTAC protocols
• Perform timely nursing assessments (within 8 hours of patient admission) and ongoing clinical reassessments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and coordinate with physicians, charge nurses, therapists, and case managers
• Develop and implement patient teaching, discharge planning, and rehabilitation goals to support transitions of care
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control practices, and quality standards
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation and support unit team building
• Pursue professional growth through continuing education, training, and competency development
