Travel RN opportunity in Macon, GA — 13-week Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) contract starting April 6, 2026. Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for high-quality patient care in a supportive LTAC setting.

• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shifts, 12 hours (3 shifts per week; 36 hours/week)
• Number of Openings: 6 travel RN positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,740 - $1,830/week

Travel RN Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired)
• Experience in LTAC, long-term acute care, or similar acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills for multidisciplinary care

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner
• Initiate and coordinate discharge planning and patient teaching beginning at admission
• Communicate clinical changes in patient status to the care team to maintain continuity and safety
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Promote a safe work environment by following hospital safety policies and best practices
• Participate in team-building activities and contribute positively to unit operations
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC nursing
