Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oncology RN or chemotherapy nurse
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Chemo certification required — must be able to safely prepare and administer chemotherapy
• Ability to monitor and document patient responses to oncology treatments
• Open to travel clinicians only (no local candidates within 50 miles)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult oncology patients
• Prepare, administer, and monitor chemotherapy and biologic therapies; recognize and respond to adverse reactions
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and outpatient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, medication administration, and patient progress in the electronic health record
• Adhere to oncology safety protocols, infection control standards, and institutional chemotherapy handling procedures
