• Work Schedule: Typically 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible; can be discussed)

• Shift Type: 12?hour flexibility as needed
• Weekend Rotation: Saturday rotation required

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Iowa, or eligibility to obtain an Iowa PTA license
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant; acute rehab or med?surg experience preferred
• Ability to float between acute rehab, med?surg, and outpatient units
• Familiarity with Meditech (IP/ARU) and Casamba (OP) EMR systems preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary rehabilitation care
• Reliable, patient?focused approach with proven safety and mobility best practices

Responsibilities

• Provide high?quality rehabilitation therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant in acute rehab, med?surg, and outpatient settings
• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized patient care plans and restorative programs
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in EMR (Meditech, Casamba)
• Float between units as needed and participate in scheduled weekend rotations
• Support patient safety, mobility, and discharge planning through effective communication with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain a professional, positive environment for patients, families, and staff
