OR Nurse Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA RN)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience (Perioperative RN / OR Nurse experience)
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong clinical skills in perioperative care and sterile technique
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and surgical instrumentation abilities

Operating Room Responsibilities (Surgical Nurse / Perioperative RN)

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures as an OR Registered Nurse
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams with preparation, instrumentation, and intraoperative monitoring
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort throughout the perioperative process
• Maintain accurate documentation, counts, and adherence to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including PACU and pediatric surgical staff, to deliver high-quality care
