Job Details

• Location: Dickson, TN 37055 (Dickson County) — 45 minutes from downtown Nashville
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 9, 2026 – June 8, 2026)
• Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,730
• Setting: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Tennessee or compact state accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nursing)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-focused care abilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on the Med/Surg unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using clinical judgment
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies
