Job Requirements (Radiation Therapist Qualifications)
- Minimum 3 years recent experience as a Radiation Therapist, including TrueBeam linear accelerator experience
- Current AART certification required (ARRT or AART as applicable)
- Proficiency with Align RT (Vision RT) surface guidance / SGRT and ARIA electronic documentation
- Advanced clinical skills in DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold), VMAT, SBRT, and Surface Guidance procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with RNs, dosimetrists, physicists, dietitians, and social workers
- Willingness to comply with department dress code (Caribbean blue scrubs)
Key Responsibilities (Radiation Oncology Therapist Duties)
- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments using TrueBeam linear accelerators and SGRT systems
- Set up and verify patient positioning, utilizing Align RT (Vision RT) and ARIA for accurate documentation and patient tracking
- Perform advanced treatment techniques including VMAT, SBRT, and DIBH with attention to safety and quality
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary oncology team members to optimize patient care and outcomes
- Maintain high patient satisfaction and safety standards (Press Ganey scores ~95%)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a positive, innovative work environment
