• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Emergency Department RN experience prior to travel (ER RN experience required)
• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or Compact State license in hand (Ohio nursing license preferred)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Epic EMR / Epic charting experience required (experience with electronic medical records is essential)
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (within past 12 months)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative 10 Panel drug screen required within 12 months of start (Nicotine/Cotinine screening is not required for nurses at this time; nurses are currently exempt from the nicotine-free facility requirement)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation

Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN / ER Responsibilities)

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department during night shifts as a Licensed Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Assess, triage, and treat patients in urgent and emergent situations; manage acute illness and trauma
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, respiratory therapy, social work) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely using Epic EMR
• Participate in orientation, competency modules, and unit-specific training
• Work at least every other holiday as required (flexible holiday coverage for travel RNs)
