- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
- Location: Knoxville, TN 37916 (Knoxville healthcare, Tennessee travel radiology)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 07:00–17:30; one day off per week)
- Expected Hours per Week: 40 hours
- Call: One night of call per week (5:30pm–7:00am) & one weekend of call per month (Fri 5:30pm–Mon 7:00am)
- Orientation: 16 hours, bi-weekly
- Employment Type: Travel Contract – travel radiologic technologist / IR tech position
Required Qualifications (Radiologic Technologist / IR Tech)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience (stroke/neuro-interventional required)
- Previous travel experience required for travel radiology jobs
- ARRT (R) certification with advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Experience with PACS, contrast administration, biopsies, and Siemens equipment; GE experience a plus
- Cerner charting system experience preferred
- Ability to float to other departments within skill set
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (travel contract requirement)
Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Duties
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including stroke intervention, aneurysm embolization, biopsies, angioplasty, stent placement, vertebroplasty, embolization, and PTCA
- Provide neuro-interventional and general IR services for adult and geriatric patients
- Operate Siemens and GE imaging systems for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Administer and monitor contrast media safely and assist during complex procedures such as thoracentesis and central line work
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner charting and PACS workflows
- Participate in call rotation, complete orientation modules, and fulfill annual training and competency requirements
- Float to other hospital departments as needed to support clinical operations
