• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,780 – $2,920
• Location: Lebanon, PA 17042 (Lebanon County, central Pennsylvania travel nurse opportunity)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:45 – 15:15), Monday through Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month
• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and General OR — ideal CVOR RN, cardiothoracic RN, and perioperative RN candidates
• COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Facility: Tobacco and fragrance free

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (cardiac and vascular surgery experience preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required (electronic health record experience preferred)
• Ability to assist in General OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled — versatile perioperative/OR nursing skills required
• Willingness to care for COVID patients
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off per contract
• Pre-start modules completed (billable, 5–6 hours)

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, MAZE procedures, and more
• Provide high-quality perioperative care for adult and geriatric patients as a CVOR RN / cardiothoracic RN
• Participate in call rotation (every 3rd day and 1–2 weekends per month)
• Float to General OR as needed and assist with a variety of surgical cases (orthopedic, general surgery, robotics)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more
• Follow infection control, fire safety, and universal protocol procedures
• Handle specimen labeling, blood administration, and operation of special equipment (Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, orthopedic robotic surgery, IABP, etc.)
