Travel Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS) – Fort Myers, FL | 13-week travel assignment in interventional cardiology. Join a dynamic cardiac catheterization team in beautiful Southwest Florida. This assignment places you in a state-of-the-art hospital Cath Lab near Fort Myers beaches and a vibrant community (Fort Myers, FL 33908).

Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,380
  • Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 (Southwest Florida)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
  • Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab job / Travel healthcare
  • Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 days per week (total 8–9 days/month)
  • Floating: Required; may float to sister campuses

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist experience
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required at time of submission
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
  • Ability to float to other units and sister campuses as needed
  • Radius Rule: Must live at least 50 miles from facility permanent address
  • Strong commitment to unit culture, teamwork, and high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

  • Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab, including cardiac catheterization and diagnostic angiography
  • Assist interventional cardiologists and nursing staff during procedures (prep, monitoring, instrument handling)
  • Monitor patient status, document findings, and provide high-quality peri-procedural care
  • Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled call coverage
  • Float to other units and sister campuses as required to support patient care
  • Integrate seamlessly with core staff, uphold hospital standards, and support a safe Cath Lab environment
