Job Details

• Position: Travel Telemetry RN / Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 – $1,970
• Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Johnson County) — Kansas nursing jobs
• Setting: Cardiac Telemetry Unit (4N Cardiac) — continuous telemetry, cardiac monitoring
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:30), 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Requirements: Memorial Day and July 4th required
• Start Date: April 12, 2026

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience required (Telemetry nursing jobs, cardiac telemetry experience)
• Hands-on experience with TR Bands and post-procedure care
• Experience managing cardiac drips (Heparin, Bumetanide/Lasix, Cardizem) and Tikosyn / Sotalol initiation protocols
• Current Kansas RN license (KS RN)
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications
• Ability to float to all acute care units as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must attend scheduled orientation
• New graduates are not eligible for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the cardiac telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips and IV medications per protocol
• Assist with post-procedure interventions, including management of TR Bands
• Initiate and monitor Tikosyn/Sotalol protocols and assess for adverse effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, imaging, pharmacy) to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other acute care units as unit needs require
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations per schedule
