• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
• Location: Walsenburg, CO 81089 (Southern Colorado travel nursing opportunity)
• Setting: Acute Medical/Surgical Unit (Med/Surg RN, Medical Surgical RN)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (Friday / Saturday / Sunday) — Night Shift RN
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in Med/Surg, Acute Care, or ECU — Med/Surg RN / Acute Care Nurse required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification required
• Willingness to work night shifts (Friday / Saturday / Sunday)
• Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility (travel assignment eligibility)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress, identify changes in condition, and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per orders
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and documentation in the electronic health record
