Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 – $1,970 (competitive travel RRT pay)
- Location: Boston, MA 02115 — Boston healthcare / Massachusetts respiratory therapist opportunity
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 12, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
- Setting: Adult Respiratory Unit (hospital respiratory therapy / ICU support)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:15 PM – 6:45 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist / Travel RRT
- Openings: 2 RRT positions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active RRT or RCP license (Massachusetts) — Massachusetts respiratory therapist licensure required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (NBRC/RRT)
- Experience with ventilator management (Hamilton ventilators preferred) and Epic charting preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts in a hospital/ICU respiratory therapy environment
- Completion of required onboarding documentation and health screenings (MMR, TB test, health statement, fit test, respirator medical clearance, criminal background/CORI, education verification)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care and clinical respiratory therapy to adult patients in a hospital setting
- Operate, set up, and manage mechanical ventilators (including Hamilton models) and perform ventilator weaning per protocols
- Perform assessments, treatments, airway management, suctioning, and respiratory interventions as ordered
- Document patient care accurately using Epic or hospital charting systems (respiratory therapist charting)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (nursing, physicians, respiratory care leaders) to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory requirements
