• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,870 - $3,020 (competitive travel RN pay)
• Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) — Travel RN / On-site
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 — travel nursing job in New York
• Setting: Diagnostic Imaging / Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts per week (Days/Evenings)
• On-Call: Weekday and weekend on-call rotations; holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nursing experience; at least 2 years in Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
• Telemetry experience required — experience with monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Active New York RN license (required) — able to practice in NY state
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Medical-Surgical experience preferred; prior Diagnostic Imaging or procedural nursing experience a plus
• Adherence to infection prevention protocols in procedural areas; must wear hospital-issued and laundered scrubs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, ultrasound, and IR procedures
• Monitor and assess patients during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures; manage patient safety and comfort
• Use critical thinking and strong communication skills to collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in on-call rotations (weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage) as part of the IR team
• Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and a high-energy approach in a fast-paced procedural environment
