- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma – 74127 (Tulsa nursing jobs / Oklahoma travel nurse)
- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) – acute care / rehabilitation
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; state-specific license required prior to start
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; 2+ years preferred (LTAC, critical care, or acute care experience highly desired)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans
- Provide patient-centered care focused on rehabilitation, recovery, and quality outcomes in an LTAC setting
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning from admission to transition of care
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and patient safety
- Promote a culture of safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and best practices
- Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate with ancillary staff to support efficient unit operations
- Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation and competency validation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical skills
