Surgical Technologist (Travel) – Beverly, MA: 13-week operating room travel contract requiring NBSTSA certification, EPIC EMR experience, and strong orthopedic and cataract skills. Join a perioperative team on the North Shore of Massachusetts with convenient access to Boston.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Contract: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 4, 2026)
• Job Type: Travel Surgical Technologist / Travel Healthcare
• Shift: 9-hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday (7:00am–4:30pm; may stay later if cases run late)
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Locations: Primary – Danvers Surgical Center (480 Maple St, Danvers, MA); occasional float to Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert (Beverly, MA; zip 01915)
• Call: 2–3 shifts per schedule period (weeknights 11pm–7am or weekends 12-hour shifts); 30-minute response time required
• Facility: Traveler-friendly environment with 4 ORs at Danvers and 10 OR suites at Beverly Hospital

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent hospital Operating Room experience as a Surgical Technologist (OR Surgical Tech / Perioperative Technologist)
• NBSTSA Certification required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Strong hands-on experience with orthopedic cases (total joints) and cataract surgery
• Ability to scrub DaVinci robotic cases; spine experience is a plus
• EPIC EMR experience required (documentation and intraoperative charting)
• Flu vaccine required prior to start (no personal or religious exemptions accepted)
• Previous travel experience preferred (travel surgical tech experience preferred)
• Local candidates not accepted
• Cannot have worked perm/per diem/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures including General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotic (DaVinci), and Spine
• Float between Danvers Surgical Center, Beverly Hospital, and Addison Gilbert as needed
• Maintain sterile field, prepare and verify proper surgical instrumentation, and ensure perioperative safety
• Respond to call shifts promptly within 30 minutes
• Collaborate with surgeons, RN circulators, anesthesia, and OR staff to deliver exceptional patient care
• Accurately document procedures and instrument counts using EPIC EMR
