• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,480 - $2,610 (travel nursing pay)
• Location: Columbus, Ohio (43210) — Columbus healthcare, Ohio nursing jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• Shift: Day/Evening rotating schedule (combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts to equate 40 hours/week)
• Schedule Options: Four 10-hour shifts, Five 8-hour shifts, or Two 8-hour shifts plus Two 12-hour shifts (schedule varies based on unit needs)
• Call: Evening, night, and weekend call as needed
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit: Operating Room (CC96716) — perioperative unit, oncology OR experience valued

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative/surgical RN)
• Travel nursing experience required
• BCLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Circulate and scrub experience preferred (scrub tech/OR RN skills)
• Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission (Ohio nursing license, compact RN accepted)
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment (operating room RN duties)
• Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of surgical specialties including neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, robotics (Da Vinci), and oncology
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC (electronic charting)
• Participate in call rotation (evening, night, weekend) as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes (surgical team, anesthesiology, perioperative services)
• Adhere to infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, and universal protocols
• Assist with specimen handling, code response, and administration of blood products
