• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (Travel Nurse Pay)
• Location: Memphis, TN 38104 — Midtown Memphis healthcare facility
• Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Unit: 9 North Tower (Medical/Surgical)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), 4 shifts/week (night shift)
• Hours per Week: 48
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Registered Nurse / Travel RN)
• Weekend/On-Call Coverage: As needed

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Medical/Surgical RN experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
• At least 1 completed previous travel assignment preferred
• Active RN license in Tennessee or active multistate compact RN license (NLC)
• Level I Trauma experience required; large hospital experience required
• ADN or BSN accepted (BSN required for select units)
• Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic medical record experience helpful)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility at the time of assignment
• Pending licenses not accepted; must be in full compliance with NLC guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as a Medical/Surgical RN within a Level I Trauma Center
• Manage an approximate patient ratio of 1:7 using team nursing support (PCC, RN, etc.)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, RNs, nursing assistants, respiratory therapists) to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Participate in on-call, weekend coverage, and shift flexibility as required
• Adhere to facility compliance, documentation standards, and charting best practices (Cerner preferred)
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and vaccination status throughout the assignment
• Support a positive, team-oriented clinical environment and contribute to patient- and family-centered care
