Job Details – Travel Nurse (Med/Surg RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540

• Setting: Acute Surgery Unit – Med/Surg (surgical nursing, post-op care)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• End Date: July 18, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), Monday through Sunday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel nursing / temporary RN)

Job Requirements – Med/Surg RN / Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an acute surgery unit (acute care / surgical nursing)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (travel nurse schedule flexibility required)

Responsibilities – Acute Surgery Unit Nursing

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult surgical patients in the Acute Surgery Unit
• Provide post-operative and perioperative nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and manage pain and recovery
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiologists, respiratory therapy, and ancillary staff) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record
• Provide compassionate education and discharge planning support to patients and families (patient education in surgical recovery)
