• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,050
• Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27103 (Winston-Salem, North Carolina; local travel nursing job)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour days (Mon–Fri, 06:45 – 15:15)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: Typically 1 time per week (5p–7a); may include weekends and holidays
• Float Requirement: May float to other surgical service areas as needed
• Scrubs: Provided
• Position Type: Travel Nurse / Perioperative Nurse / OR RN (OB/GYN, robotic-assisted surgery)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience (perioperative/circulating RN experience required)
• Previous travel nursing experience required (unit will not accept first-time travelers)
• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state (required at time of start)
• BCLS certification required
• Experience with circulating and robotics; Da Vinci robotics experience preferred
• Epic charting / Epic EMR experience preferred (perioperative documentation)
• Comfortable floating to other surgical service areas based on census and skill set
• Willingness to participate in call, weekend, and holiday rotations

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in a wide range of OB/GYN surgical procedures including robotic hysterectomies, laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, D&C, bladder slings, cystoscopies, and related gynecologic cases (no oncology cases)
• Provide perioperative nursing care for women ages 12 and up undergoing gynecological surgery
• Operate and support advanced surgical equipment such as Da Vinci, Novasure, and Myosure for robotic and minimally invasive procedures
• Maintain accurate perioperative documentation using Epic, SBAR, and other hospital systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including interpretation services, phlebotomy, anesthesia, and rapid response teams to ensure safe patient care
• Participate in call rotation and provide coverage during weekends and holidays as needed
• Float to other surgical units as required to support department needs and patient flow
