• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 (Competitive travel RN pay)

• Contract Duration: 14 weeks (Start: 4/13/2026 – End: 7/20/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30) — Night Shift OR RN / Night Travel RN
• Hours per Week: 36

• Patient Population: Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Average Daily Census: 40 cases per day — high-volume surgical environment

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (Perioperative nursing, surgical RN experience)
• Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• 16-hour Maryland approved trauma course (required by 27th week)
• 8-hour annual trauma CEUs (required)
• Preferred: Previous Charge RN experience, Trauma Level I experience, Cerner charting system experience
• References required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate perioperative care as an Operating Room RN (scrub and circulating roles)
• Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures: Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic
• Utilize advanced technology including the da Vinci robotic surgical system and other perioperative equipment
• Maintain strict sterile technique, infection control, laser and radiation safety, specimen handling, and universal protocol adherence
• Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and families, providing patient-centered education and perioperative support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and perioperative support staff
• Float within the facility as needed, practicing within scope of practice
