• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 - $1,460

• Shift: 8 Hour Days (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar rehab setting
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain MA OT license)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Familiarity with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and safe transfer techniques
• Strong clinical documentation skills and experience with patient progress notes and care plans
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (nursing, PT, SLP, physicians)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities — Occupational Therapy

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for residents in a long-term care / SNF environment
• Provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence, safe mobility, and quality of life
• Perform ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications
• Document patient progress, complete timely clinical documentation, and maintain accurate records in the medical chart
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other care team members to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate residents and families on home programs, therapeutic techniques, and equipment use to support discharge planning
