Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or eligibility via Nurse Licensure Compact
• Minimum 1 year recent CVOR or Operating Room (OR) RN experience (cardiothoracic or open heart preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Scrubbing experience as RN preferred but not required
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements (minimum 7 days/month)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular and open heart surgical procedures as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
• Support cardiothoracic surgical team including surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile field, prepare and manage surgical instruments, disposables, and specialized equipment
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and contribute to perioperative patient care and documentation
• Provide compassionate patient and family communication pre- and post-procedure
• Participate in required on-call rotation and unit teamwork for CVOR coverage
