Job Details – Travel Nurse / Travel RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Location: Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes region) — Geneva, 14456; New York nursing jobs / Finger Lakes healthcare
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night rotation; every other weekend and holiday as needed)
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Nurse opportunity)

Key Qualifications – Registered Nurse / RN

• Active New York State RN Licensure (NYS RN license required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 3 years acute care RN experience (acute care nursing, hospital setting)
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (preferably Emergency Department / ED)
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or charge nurse experience (nurse leadership, charge RN)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities – RN Supervisor / Clinical Leader

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff across the acute care unit as a Registered Nurse Supervisor and travel RN leader
• Coordinate clinical activities during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Consult with unit nursing staff to integrate services and maintain consistent patient- and family-centered care
• Monitor patient acuity and adjust staffing levels according to established guidelines (staffing coordination, acuity management)
• Support nurses in managing emergency clinical and administrative situations (critical incident support)
• Facilitate competency assessments, nursing education, and ongoing staff development
• Participate in nursing leadership committees, quality improvement initiatives, and problem-solving groups
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote professional development, accountability, and retention
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, professional practice standards, and clinical protocols
• Promote effective communication and collaboration among nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and stakeholders
