- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940 (competitive pay for travel nurse assignments)
- Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico (87505) — Santa Fe nursing jobs, New Mexico RN opportunities
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift RN
- Hours per Week: 36

Qualifications / Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (Registered Nurse / RN)
- Current New Mexico RN license OR Compact state RN license (New Mexico RN or compact RN)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; med-surg or oncology experience preferred
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served (adult med-surg/oncology)
- Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Travel nurse experience and EMR documentation skills are a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate direct patient care on a general med-surg unit, including oncology patients
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and perform assessments during night shift
- Ensure safe, efficient, high-quality nursing care consistent with unit standards
- Accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and effective handoffs
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team
- Respond to emergency/crisis situations and adapt to unexpected changes in workload or schedule
- Perform physical tasks such as patient positioning, transfers, and safe operation of equipment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while treating staff, patients, and families with respect
