Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac PCU | Travel RN – Lebanon, NH. 13-week assignment caring for cardiac, EP, and post-op patients in the Upper Valley. Join a dynamic Heart & Vascular Unit providing step-down and telemetry care for a diverse cardiology patient population.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

- Unit: Heart & Vascular Unit (48 beds, progressive care / step-down level of care)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (5/25/2026 – 8/22/2026)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:00, Night: 19:00–07:00)
- Patient Ratios: Days 1:3, Nights 1:4-5 (acuity dependent)
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Travel RN
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years recent PCU / progressive care / step-down or telemetry nursing experience
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (proof of state residency required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Key Responsibilities — Cardiac PCU RN / Progressive Care Nurse
- Provide high-quality nursing care for cardio-thoracic surgical patients, telemetry/step-down patients, CHF, vascular, pulmonary hypertension, and temporary pacer management
- Care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients, managing chest tubes, drains, central lines, and complex wounds
- Administer and titrate drips and vasoactive medications (e.g., Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone, nitro, primacor, dobutamine, dopamine, low-dose pressors, inotropes)
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring, invasive BP monitoring via arterial lines, and manage epicardial wires and external pacers
- Provide respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP management and trach/laryngectomy care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, EP, CV surgery, respiratory therapy, wound care) to deliver comprehensive patient care
