• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 – $1,920

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital (119 staffed beds)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse / Perioperative RN
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: Weekday call rotation (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM), as assigned
• Weekend Coverage: Typically every 4th weekend, based on staffing
• Float: May be required to float within scope to other units or campuses
• Scrubs & Parking: Surgical scrubs provided; free parking available

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room RN experience (perioperative/surgical nursing)
• Travel nursing experience required — must be an experienced travel nurse
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• CNOR certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for patients of all ages (infant to geriatric) as a perioperative/OR RN
• Circulate and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, gynecological, thoracic, and pediatric cases
• Scrub, circulate, and assist with complex cases and the use of specialized surgical equipment (Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Hana Table)
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations and float assignments as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document perioperative care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system
