Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,790 – $1,920
• Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (Asheville MRI jobs / North Carolina travel MRI)
• Assignment Duration: 26 weeks (April 26, 2026 – October 25, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Employment Type: Travel MRI Tech, On-site
• Rotating Weekends: Required
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI tech experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
• Registered MRI Technologist certification required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred (GE MRI)
• Breast MRI experience is a plus
• Ability to work rotating weekends and 12-hour day shifts
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system preferred
• Strong patient-care skills and ability to work in a fast-paced radiology department

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast studies across a variety of clinical exams
• Operate and maintain GE MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare patients and obtain clinical history; ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI exams
• Accurately document patient records and imaging data using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adhere to all unit guidelines, hospital policies, and radiation safety protocols
• Maintain professionalism and a patient-centered attitude in a busy imaging department
