Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,140
• Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (Asheville, North Carolina – Blue Ridge Mountains)
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks (April 26, 2026 – October 25, 2026)
• Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (10-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Hospital, Outpatient, Clinic (diagnostic imaging / radiology)
• Rotating Weekends: Required
• Role Type: Travel MRI technologist / Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical MRI technologist experience
• Registered MRI Technologist certification (ARRT-MR preferred)
• Experience operating GE MRI systems
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR for accurate patient documentation
• Ability to work rotating weekends and night shifts
• Breast MRI experience preferred
• Professional appearance (black scrubs required)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MR imaging procedures, including contrast-enhanced and non-contrast studies across hospital, outpatient, and clinic settings
• Safely operate GE MRI equipment and follow MRI safety protocols (patient screening, MR safety zones)
• Document exams and images accurately in Cerner EMR and PACS
• Provide patient-centered care with a professional, compassionate approach
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services
• Float to other imaging areas as needed to support department workflow
