- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 - $2,340
- Location: Boise, Idaho (83706) — Boise nursing jobs, Idaho travel nursing
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 12, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (06:45 AM – 07:15 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse (On-site)
- Clinical Setting: Main OR — Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Pediatric OR, Pediatric PACU, Sub-Acute cases
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Operating Room/OR specialty required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN or perioperative nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Up-to-date immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Physical/Health Statement and successful completion of competency testing/skills checklist
- Background check and education verification required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Serve as scrub nurse and/or circulating nurse to assist surgeons and surgical teams in the Main OR
- Monitor patient status, ensure patient safety, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Adhere to infection control standards and perioperative protocols
- Accurately document patient care and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including PACU and pediatric teams
- Support both adult and pediatric surgical cases as needed within a high-volume OR
