- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,600
- Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Setting: Main Operating Room (Perioperative/OR)
- Shift: 10 Hour Days (06:45 AM – 05:15 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing / On-Site (Travel RN, OR RN)
- Location: Boise, ID 83706 – local travel nursing opportunity in Idaho
Job Requirements
- Active RN license with OR or perioperative specialty (state licensure valid for Idaho or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) or perioperative RN experience
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements, including health screenings and competency testing
- Up-to-date immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella) and TB screening
- Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative skills to support surgical teams
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Main OR across multiple surgical specialties, including thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, pediatric OR/PACU, and sub-acute cases
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical experience
- Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes in condition
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment for procedures; perform OR setup and turnover efficiently
- Document perioperative care accurately and maintain complete patient records in compliance with facility guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and PACU staff—to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
