Job Requirements
- Active RN license (Operating Room specialty required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Compliance with onboarding requirements including health screenings and competency testing
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment; strong perioperative communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and high-quality perioperative outcomes throughout surgical procedures
- Assist with thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute cases, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR specialties
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to physiologic changes during surgery
- Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in pre-op and post-op patient assessments and contribute to surgical time-out and safety protocols
