• Shift: 10-hour days (7:30am – 6:00pm)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care experience as a Physical Therapist
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (MA PT license)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR for documentation and clinical workflows
• Adult acute care experience and strong clinical assessment skills
• Non-local candidates preferred (no locals)
• Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months and in good standing

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services to adult patients in an acute care hospital
• Manage an average caseload of approximately 13 patients per day, prioritizing safety and efficient throughput
• Deliver specialized care across areas including women's health, vestibular rehab, pelvic rehab, and general hospital management
• Perform evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and functional outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and case management, to optimize discharge planning and continuity of care
• Document patient progress, plans of care, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Maintain professional standards, adhere to facility protocols, and follow infection control and safety procedures
