• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Location: Celina, TX 75009 (Dallas metro area)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Required every other week (Monday - Sunday)
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• End Date: July 20, 2026

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid prior to start)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam (up to 2 attempts allowed prior to start)
• Ability to complete required online and unit-specific modules (average 8–12 hours) pre-start and during orientation

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, stent placements, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and vascular closure device operations
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation, IV vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, and emergency medications used in the cath lab
• Recognize, interpret, and manage dysrhythmias; obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG; assist with cardioversion when indicated
• Support infection prevention, isolation precautions, and malignant hyperthermia protocols to ensure patient safety in the cath lab
• Administer blood products, start and maintain IVs, and manage central lines and PICC lines as needed
• Perform sheath removal, topical hemostasis, and monitoring of vascular closure systems following procedures
• Adhere to radiation and laser safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, techs, and support staff — to deliver high-quality cardiac care and positive patient outcomes
