• Shifts per Week: 3 (36 hours/week)
• Schedule Notes: Every other holiday required
• Work Type: On-site position

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years recent experience as an MST/PCU RN, Progressive Care or Medical-Surgical Telemetry background
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required (experience with electronic charting and documentation)
• Flu vaccination required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and timely assessment of patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered; follow safe medication practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) for coordinated care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately using EPIC EMR
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning support, and bedside teaching
• Participate in unit activities, including coverage every other holiday as scheduled
