Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,320 – $2,440
• Location: Marquette, MI 49855 — Michigan travel nursing opportunity
• Facility: 225-bed specialty care hospital with multiple specialty centers
• Unit: Operating Room (12 ORs), Level 2 Trauma Center
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 12, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (start at 06:45 or 09:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: One day per week and one weekend per month; 30-minute response time required
• Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation included

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) or perioperative RN experience
• Clinical experience with: general surgery, urology, GYN, neuro, ortho (total joints, sports medicine, trauma, podiatry), basic ENT, basic vascular, and robotic procedures
• Preferred experience: cardiovascular (CV), C-section, trauma, and basic plastics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and collaborate as a team player
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Operating Room with a 1:1 patient ratio when required
• Assist and circulate for a broad range of surgical procedures including general, urology, GYN, neuro, ortho, ENT, vascular, robotic, and trauma cases
• Participate in the OR on-call rotation as scheduled
• Ensure patient safety and strict adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and sterile technique
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient care and perioperative records using Cerner EHR
• Maintain professional standards and hospital dress code (scrubs)
