• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

• Setting: Hospital Cardiac Catheterization / Special Procedures Lab (Interventional Cardiology)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred) – hospital cath lab or interventional cardiology experience preferred
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification OR ARRT certification and registration
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to respond to on-call responsibilities within 30 minutes
• Proficient English communication (reading, writing, speaking)
• Computer literacy for online learning and documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical support for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and special procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; operate x-ray camera, hemodynamic monitoring systems, ultrasound, and power injectors
• Prepare procedure rooms and sterile equipment, instruct and monitor patients, and deliver routine and emergency care as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage to ensure timely patient care interventions
• Respond calmly and professionally during emergency situations and code scenarios
• Contribute to department quality assurance, performance improvement projects, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, nurses, and cath lab staff
