• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Location: Gadsden, Alabama (35903) — travel nursing assignment in Gadsden, AL
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN (Medical-Surgical)

Minimum Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (required)
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care/hospital setting
• Cerner EMR experience preferred (electronic medical record proficiency)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Manage an assigned patient ratio of approximately 6:1
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and professional dress code
